ALL DEPARTMENT COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS should review this guide to confirm timelines and judging coordination.

DUE DATES: Send to the Department Chair on or before May 1. Copy to your District Chair or President by May 1 or the Date the District sets. If you don't know the date for your district, ASK!
VETERANS AFFAIRS & REHABILITATION
VA&R BE THE ONE REPORT - There is no form for this, submit a report to the VA&R Chair as outlined in the Rules document found above.

REQUIRED UNIT FORMS
These forms are due to the Department each year as noted below. For a unit to be considered in good standing with the Department of Georgia all forms must be submitted on time.
Unit Officers Yearly Form 2025-2026 (Submit this form for change of officers during 2025-2026 year)
Unit Officers Yearly Form 2026-2027 (Due June 3 - after Unit elections)
Unit Data Form 2026 (for Unit membership cards)

FOR THE PERIOD MAY 1, 2025 - APRIL 30, 2026
Members should submit their reports to their Unit President by the due date set by the Unit President.Unit Presidents must submit the Unit Impact Report Form District Presidents by May 1 so that the District President can compile District Impact (all units added together) and submit to the Department Secretary by May 15.
The Department Secretary must compile the annual Department Impact report and submit to National before July 1. Learn more here.

Anyone interested in starting a new unit or rechartering a former unit, pleae inform the Department Presidsent at GailRamey@msn.com or the Department Secretary at SECAMLEGAUX@bellsouth.net. An ALA team member will be assigned to assist the unit organizer. Please review the GEORGIA UNIT INFORMATION GUIDE at this link.
RESOLUTIONS
Resolutions must be in the hands of the Resolutions Chair NO later than June 5, 2026 (Not just postmarked June 5, 2026). Mail three copies to: Joann Meadows, Resolutions Chair, 105 Woodridge Dr. NW, Woodridge Estates, Calhoun, GA 30701-9424 and mail one copy to: American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Georgia, 3035 Mt. Zion Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 to arrive NO later than June 5, 2026.
